Powerflex Road Series Lower Engine Mount Insert – PFF16-721
The PFF16-721 Lower Engine Mount Insert is expertly crafted from our Yellow 70A durometer material, ensuring enhanced mount longevity and performance. This insert is designed to fill the voids in the original equipment (OE) rubber mount, which often fails in tuned vehicles. By stiffening and supporting the perished rubber bush, it smooths out gear changes and provides a more precise and settled transmission response during both acceleration and deceleration.
Please note, a small increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) is to be expected, particularly at idle, due to the stiffer material connecting the engine/transmission to the chassis. The harder the material, the greater the NVH transmitted.
